United Marine Surveyors is a team of professional Surveyors, Engineers and Captains.
Captain Biesel is a USCG 3000 ton Oceans Master. Captain Biesel started his career in the automotive industry servicing Mercedes and BMW vehicles. In 1992 he entered the Marine Industry as an engineer serving aboard commercial vessels and private yachts around the world. In 1997 he moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where he directed the survey and service of a 150 vessel commercial water sports operation where he later directed the design, construction and certification of two USCG certified passenger carrying vessels. Moving in 2000 to continue his education in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Captain Biesel was contracted to oversee the construction and delivery of a 107 foot aluminum Burger mega yacht which he then captained traveling as far as Istanbul, Turkey and north to the Prince Edward Sound. Realizing the frequency of requests for advice and assistance on many purchases and projects in 2006 Captain Biesel formed United Marine Surveyors in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
